The Police Benevolent Association of Georgetown gave back to the community in a big way by donating their time to the annual Backpack Distribution held on July 31st and August 2nd, 2025, at the Carver Center for Families. Officers joined volunteers in stuffing backpacks with school supplies and personally handing them out to children preparing for the upcoming school year.

Smiles filled the day as kids received their new backpacks, and parents expressed their gratitude for the support. The event distributed hundreds of backpacks to families across Georgetown, ensuring that students head back to school with the tools they need to learn and grow.
